Thought you might enjoy this:

Nutella Cheesecake
16 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 (13 ounce) jar Nutella
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 (9-inch) prepared graham cracker crust

In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Blend in Nutella and vanilla extract until no streaks remain. Pour into crust. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving

I've never tried Nutella, but it has always interested me. Is this cheesecake very nutty flavored? I love chocolate, so would it taste okay with a fudge topping?

debbie2881,

That's right, no baking.

I also have another no-bake cheesecake in the CC recipes:

Great anytime, but especially in the summer when you don't want to fire up the oven!

GeminiRJ,

I think fudge topping is always appropriate....mmmmm

I was wondering if anyone else has a recipe for using nutella. I think it is fantastic and would love some more reasons to use this product

I just used Nutella in the Chocolate Hazelnut Buttercreme recipe from this website. Everyone raved about it!! It was really good - somehow it kept getting on my fingers icon_lol.gif

Thank you, I am going to try the choc. Hazelnut Buttercream recipe. I would like to use all butter instead of the shortening, any idea if you think this will work out okay.
Thanks

I've made this before & it's GREAT!!! I also do a couple of versions where I make sweetened whipped cream and 1. layer it on top of the Nutella layer in an extra-large crust, or 2. fold it into the Nutella mixture for a lighter version (that would be lighter in texture, not calories)! icon_lol.gif

Nutella rocks!!!
