I posted this in cake decorating forum but obviously the right person didn't see my post since I didn't get any replies so I thought I would try here.

I have seen a cake on cc, it was a wedding cake and on the top layer there was a heart and the couple's intials "written" in sand.

I have a really really good friend (since 4th grade!) that would like me to do the cake for her little sister's wedding reception in July. I know it is a long way off but I am looking for ideas so I can sit down with her and talk about design. I am not sure that I am good enough to do a wedding cake so I want to research it enough to determine if I can do the design she wants or if I should have her go to someone else. I know she wants a simple cake with some shells (she is having a destination wedding with a reception back here) and I remember seeing theis cake and loved the top.

Anyone that could help me find this I would really appreciate it. I have done multiple searches and can not find it!

TIA,
Amanda

Part of the problem might be that the person who uploaded that photo didn't put any keywords in to do a search for it. Here are two that I found that seemed close. Otherwise, just search the wedding cake galleries...yikes! That's a LOT of cake!

It's not initials, but is this it?

and that goes with this:

Sandi4tpc, you are absolutely right, that IS a lot of cake.
Keywords would help everyone so much!

Okay, I think I just got real lucky...maybe. I went to search the wedding cake galleries [there are at least 3 different ones!]. Then I went back 5 pages and 5 pages again [thinking how quickly new photos come in...]. I then went back another page and found these two photos

If these aren't it...well, shoot, I'm done for now! icon_razz.gif Good luck! Let me know, if one of these links was the right one.

ps...it took me longer to post this particular reply than I actually took looking through the gallery! icon_eek.gif

Which is probably why I've edited this post so it wasn't a DOUBLE post!

Sandi4tpc & Sugarfrosted ~Thanks for all the help. Sandi While it is not the one I am looking for it does have the same idea. It will still give me a reference to show her as far as the heart and intials!! Thank you again for going out of your way to help me!!

If I do come across the one I was talking about I will post it here.

Thanks again,
Amanda
