Ok so I made some new contacts at the last wedding I did. I exchanged cards with the dj he is going to call me Tuesday to talk some more. Left some with the hotel. Managed to get a card to a guest at the wedding who asked for it. I also scrapbook & may get some contacts through the store. I meet a new girl who just got married within the past month & her wedding planner is looking for a new cake person. Plus she was going to give it to her sound & makeup person. Also I am trying to get on the vendor list at a local reception place. So cross your fingers & say prayers for me I could really use this. I stay at home with my daughter & could use the extra income. Plus it's doing something I really love. 
Good for you! Sounds like you could really start raking in some business. I love decorating, and would love to do more cakes for people as a paying gig, but I get so tensed up when I do one for someone other than family that I think I'd have ulcers within the first month!! Besides that, my skills don't even come close to competing with most people on CC ....
That being said, I'm sending luck and good thoughts your way! Here's hoping you can make a living doing something you really enjoy.
