Do any of my fellow CCers use what they may consider earth friendly packaging? I like the domed cake containers for cupcakes but I'm always afraid that they're going to end up in the garbage rather than be recycled. Paper is OK as long as no food gets on it, but again will it end up in the garbage rather than the blue box? I saw some great packaging at a local market the other day: plastic containers that were compostable, made out of vegetable oil. But I couldn't find any info on the internet about it.

Any ideas out there? I can't wait to hear!

Awesome question!

I know I saw some food containers made from recyled paper at Smart & Final, but nothing large enough to hold a cake.

I'm curious, too...
