Okay! This may be an established method for some of you but I did not know about this and stumbled upon it by accident. I was trying to figure out how to get the wood look and make it look like wooden planks for a cake I am planning. I decided to give chocolate modelling paste a try. Made a batch using dark chocolate. It was too greasy and soft for forming planks and was too dark in color to look like wood. I decided to knead it with white satin ice and it worked brilliantly. I got the perfect color and consistency that I wanted. And it is delicious J. ust thought it would be another new technique to try for newbies like me so I am putting it out there. Not claiming originality here icon_lol.gif I am sure it has been done before but it was new to me so I am excited. Can't wait to try it with white chocolate next.
