I was watching the DVD I purchased from CC called "How to make icing Flowers". I was watching her make the pansey and she striped the bag with purple then filled it with yellow icing.

I was wondering how you know where the position the stripe in accordance to your tip? She tried to explain, but I didn't quite get it, I thought maybe ya'll maybe had a better way to explain to me.

I do this with my roses all the time-you have to make sure the skinny end of the tip is where the stripe is. I haven't tried it with pansies-I didn't think they were just tipped but probably could be. If you experiment a few times, you'll see how it comes out and will be able to do new things in no time!

Thanks lapazlady for the bump!

Also, thank you so much mgdqueen for the answer, that helps me out a lot. I have never been able to get to a Michaels, or anywhere like that to take classes so I am trying to teach myself and Y'all at CC are just wonderful!
