Are heavy cream and whipping cream interchangeable?

I need to make cookies and cream filling and could only find whipping cream, they were out of heavy cream. Do they work the same?

I think you would get the same effect, but I'm not sure!

is it does it say heavy whipping cream? i know that and heavy cream are the same.
