I know it is only the end of Oct, but I just got a huge order of a cake to feed 200 with a christmas caroling theme. They want 3-d figures. I can hand mold them, I just need some pics/ ideas. I am drawing a blank here, and how to fill a cake that size with them????
Any help would be great! ![]()
What if you did a teired cake. Winter wonderland style. Maybe have the bottom layer have a little house and with a group of carolers I don't know if that would even fit. Or maybe just do some carolers on the top as a cake topper. Maybe put some pine tree on it with luster dust to look like snow. Sorry, I'm not much help. Atleast It'll give you a bump.
There is a cake on page 85 of the 2003 Wilton yearbook with carolers. It is a much smaller cake than you need but it is really cute and a good jumping off point for you. It is called Spirited Carolers. The carolers are made from different sized gingerbread man cookies. Let me know if you don't have the yearbook and I will pm you the pic.
look at this cake not 3d but really cute, covers the whole cake
