Can you put an edible image on top of a fondant/gumpast plaque? I'm trying to put a plaque standing up on top of a cake and need an image on it as well.....is this doable? Or how should I do this? I'm working on a cheetah girls cake for the weekend.

TIA,

Luvcakes.

Yep - you can do it! Just spread a THIN layer of piping gel on the fondant/gumpaste and apply the image.

Post pics when you're done!

I just use water and that works fine and a lot less messy. I just use a brush to apply an thin coat of water and then apply the image.
