For those of you that have made the monkey cake on the pile of bananas How did you get them to stick to the cake? What if I use buttercream as base frosting instead of fondont? Sorry I dont know how to post picture of this particular cake.

By the way thanks to all of you that posted your creations of this cake. They are soooooo cute!!!

can you make a picture and tranfer in rice paper or tranfer in parchment paper and use tip 16 for make the stars

I think buttercream would be fine. If you want fondant to fondant stickage you can use water, clear alcohol (vodka, lemon extract, etc), gum glue (tylose, gum trag, or gum-tex dissolved in water and allowed to thicken) or piping gel.
