That is so sad, and scary. I'm sorry to say that #$## like that happens here in the DFW area a lot, mostly kids killing or harming other kids, you have to wonder where are the parents? A little 2 year old died a couple of days ago, she and her 3 year old brother were both shot in a drive by a few months ago, he was okay, but she was hit in the head and was brain damaged and in constant pain! How can people just go shooting at houses or cars like that not knowing who may be inside...just is sickening! Janice

I am afraid that the kids now are so subjected to violence that it has become a very serious problem. I blame the media, the reality programming, the video games, the movies and above all the parents. Kids now have no respect. We cannot discipline them without someone thinking they are being abused. Now I agree there are some children that are being abused, but since the schools are not allowed to do anything, and this generation of parents do nothing, then what can we expect of these kids? This has all gotton out of control. The morals in this country have gone down hill.Children are given things, like computers, and music crap and cell phones that are exposing them to bad things. What the heck is wrong with parents? They do not monitor what they watch. I am afraid the liberal thinkers have caused us a generation of undisciplined, rude, unruley children, and they will run this country one day!

He and his family have a long road to traverse now. (I know this better than any of you because my son is a C6 quadriplegic from the nipples down courtesy of a freakin drunk driver. He was 18 when it happened, and that was in 1987). I take care of him, so I know what his mom has in store. If he has use of his hands he'll be lucky. (Mine doesn't)

I wish there had been some clue as to what this link was to before I opened the d*mned thing.

Just ignore me...touchy subject. Bad morg...quit being a b*tch.

Hey morg, you have a tough situation, and you are not being a b*tch! Besides, we are all entitled to do that occasionally! Janice

ok, now I'm in tears and my kids are wondering why I'm crying, that's awful!!!! and morg, no problem you are not being a witch with a B, unless people help take care of someone who is in the same spot as your son they won't understand. I've worked (and have in my family) members who need care like your son due to idiots!!!!!! God bless you and your son.

Thanks yall. My son doesn't feel sorry for himself, so I'm not allowed to either, lol. (It's a going joke we have...and man do we come up with some really sick humor!)

Remember that old tune "Car Wash"? When I had him in the shower one day he was singing "At the Quad Washhhhhh....". Lordy, lordy. This boy is warped...now I wonder where he got *that* from? icon_rolleyes.gif

Momma always told me when you get lemons make lemonade, so we keep to that mindset. The only time I lose it is with incompetant doctors. Anyway, enough about my crud...on with the cakes! (Oh, and he hates sweets...too funny, huh?)
