I've been planning on buying a KA mixer but saw that JCPenny has a Cook's mixer on sale for $150, normally $300. Does anyone know how Cook's compares to KA? Is this a good deal or should I just stick to getting a KA?

Thanks!!

I have the Cook's mixer and I love it. It has 700 watts of power and the highest KA goes is 525 and that is the professional 600 (that I know of anyway). I had a KA with 400 watts and it was no better than a professional hand mixer I had used for years. The wattage was the same. If my Cook's tears up, I would buy another one in a heartbeat. Just my opinion.

I just posted a thread about this mixer a couple days ago. I have what I believe to be the same one. Mine is actually a Wolfgang Puck brand, but it looks EXACTLY the same. I love it and it works great.

Thanks for posting this question. I have the same question as you. So, this is a big BUMP to see if anyone else out there in CC land has a cooks or WP mixer.
