I am going to attempt my first cakes with scroll work on them... They are not cakes for the public but just one for a friend and one for fun.... Any tips or advise that you could share, I would so appreciate it. I thinks scrolls that are done well are the most elegant of all decorations!! I want to make those elegant cakes!!! HELP!!!

Just make sure your cakes are at eye level. I usually practice on a bucket or something round or sq before I do the scroll on the cake just to get the feel of it. Lightly touch the sides of the cake with your tip as you make the scroll.
