O.k. I baked some cookies and covered them in rolled buttercream.. I attached an edible image by putting a lil' bit of piping gel on the rolled bc... So I have two questions... Is the image supposed to kinda dissolve in on the r. bc or not cause mine isn't? and is the rolled bc too greasy to put royal icing on it? I want to go over the edges in something if the edges of the image aren't gonna dissolve...TIA or all and any assistance and guidance.

I don't have an ei printer so I can't answer. I know some of the icing sheets do kind of dissolve a little but don't know enough about any of them to say which ones. Since you used rolled bc underneath, it probably won't melt into it that much.

Never tried royal on top of rolled bc sorry. I would think it would be too greasy. HTH, maybe someone else can answer for sure.

Royal icing is fine on top of rolled buttercream. I do it w/ all of my cookies and it has no bad effects. Not sure about the edible images part, never done those. Hope the rest helps, though.

I would not use piping gel on the cookie. It will make the edible image sort of lumpy if not totally smooth. Use a small spritz bottle and give 1 quick spritz to the Rolled Buttercream. Then apply the edible image and it will adhere nice and smooth and look great!
