How do I do the quilting effect? Do you have to measure every line? Or is there an easier way? I've seen some that look like stiching lines, is there a roller that would do that? I know, alot of questions! Thanks for reading! icon_biggrin.gif

I just use a ruler and trace along each side. For the stitching effect you can buy special tools or if you are a sewer a "tracing wheel" works just fine, just don't push it in to hard into the icing.

Earlene Moore sells a set of impression mats, one of which is the quilted pattern. You can ice your cake, chill it in the refrigerator and then press the imprssion mat against the sides. After that you can leave just the lines of the impression mat plain or pipe buttercream lines over the design.
