I wish I could help you with the exact answer, but i do not have one. What I would do however is look up a from scratch recipe and see how much cocoa you would use for that. Then half it and add to the yellow mixture. I just looked at the recipes and for a basic chocoalte cake the person used 1 and 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa so I would use 1/2 to 3/4 cups depending on how chocolately you wanted the cake.
