So Im making this cake for my best friends birthday. Its a white chocolate raspberry cake. My sister asked if I was using a ganache for the frosting and it got me to thinking....
Its going to be a three tiered mad hatter cake with white choclate cake (from scratch) for all the cake layers. There will be raspberry perserves (sp?) in between, but also a frosting and the crusted bc on the outside of the cake.
Should I use a white chocolate frosting in the middle along with the perserves or should I use a white chocolate ganache?
What sounds better? I was thinking the ganache might be too heavy. What do you guys think???
much love,
nikki

I'm with you. I think the ganache would be too much.

I am a white chocolate lover, and I would vote for white chocolate frosting over even white chocolate ganache! Sounds yummy...send me one (please, pretty please!!!)

LOL. Ill send you my peice. Im not a fan of white chocolate.
I am thankful for your responses. I was thinking the ganache was too much but needed some more input. I asked my husband and he gave me this look like I had seven heads, shook his head, and said "Nikki, what are you talking about?"
I figured I needed some expert opinion!
Thanks again!
