Flesh Tone....help!!!!

Hi

I have a cake order for a minnie mouse character cake and it requires her face to be in 'flesh tone'. how does one achieve this with having the actual colour. Can one use a really light brown?????

Please help.

I would use a small amount of copper.

I mix a pale pink buttercrem and then add a tiny touch of brown and maybe a tiny touch of yellow if it looks too tan.

My Wilton instructor told me to use copper.

I use Wilton ivory + a little creamy peach.

If you check out My Photos on the bulldozer cake, the little construction dude was made with Americolor's "Flesh" color. Or it may be called "copper" with the flesh in parentheses on the label - I forget. Anyway, I've used the Wilton copper/flesh tone and I think the Americolor comes out much more realistic. It was actually freaky seeing a bunch of that flesh colored fondant sitting on my counter - it looked so real and I kept doing double takes! Anyway, if you're able to get hold of Americolor, I would highly recommend it!

I also need to make Caucasian flesh tone and I only have red, yellow, blue, orange, green, black, and purple. Any ideas on how to do it?
