Watching Duff now in food tv.. he needs help for a cake. I like the fact that they need help...makes me feel not so bad when I need help...i know he isnt perfect but.... 
ps..the cake they needed help on was a basic wedding cake...basic compared to what they have and continue to do..
Yes! I liked how they said the simple cakes are the ones that are difficult!
I cut off my cable long ago (the kids tend to become veggies), but Duff is right. The simple cakes with no decoration except maybe some swiss dots or fresh flowers or something give me the hardest time, every time! Give me an intense design or a sculpted cake or something, and it works just fine. go figure!
I love the simple cakes...I love the clean looks of just a white bc cake with swiss dots and maybe a couple of red roses...they look so elegant..and ya know, I think swiss dots are more difficult then lets say making swirls on cupcakes. And a simple cake makes you think more ..I think lol
