I made these for my daughter's class. The fondant seemed to dry really well the first night then softened up a bit after we got rain here. Can gumpaste(or Gumtex?) help combat humidity?

I'm so sorry, I don't know about dreaded humidity vs fondant either icon_cry.gif But, your ghosts are darling! What did you drape the over? Oh, they are SO cute icon_lol.gif
I love their little eyes-not just "dots"-eyes!!!

I used a gumdrop on a toothpick. The eyes I pushed a straw into the fondant...

Cute, cute, cute! And yes, adding some gumtex or gumpaste to fondant will help combat humudity.
