I am white-icing challenged, which of course means I can't make other colors either. All I'm really comfortable is my favorite chocolate icing. I've tried multiple recipes for white icing, at least 8, and none have quite satisfied me. I was hoping someone would be willing to share a recipe that works time after time for them.
Thanks in advance!

Just use crisco, clear flavorings, and powder sugar. You can add anything to taste...as long as it is clear or white.

Good Morning,

I use a variation of "The Best White Icing Ever", in the recipe forum. Lots of bakers had a tiny, tiny bit of violet color gel to the Buttercream recipe to make it white (I have not had success with doing this, but, others certainly have raved about it, so it must work).
