O.k. here's the dilemma, I'm making the 3-D Rubber Duck cake for my sister's baby shower. I want to make the bonnet for the duck in pink fondant but was wondering if anybody had a pattern for it or if you just wing it??

Thanks for any help in advance!

In the 2005 Wilton yearbook, page 80, there is a cake with a Momma and a baby ducky "Under Her Wing". The baby ducky has a bonnet, but it's just done with a tip 104 ruffle. Sorry no help with a pattern though.

One more thing! Do you have the directions with your rubby ducky pan? If not, here is a link:

http://www.wilton.com/cake/shapedpans/pdf%5C2105-20943-DRubberDucky.pdf
If the link doesn't work, just Google "Rubber Ducky pan", fondant, bonnet.

In the directions, under "Sweet Baby Ducky" section, it doesn't give a pattern, but it does give pretty detailed directions.
