Cupcake Cake Question

I have to make 200 mini cupcakes. I don't see why I can't make a CCC with mini's but my question is whether you think it would be easier to make a CCC or simply ice 200 mini's and add a topper of some sort. It seems that a CCC would go much faster and the I could decorate as I would a cake. I've never done a CCC though so I'm a little concerned.

You can still make a mini CCC, it will just be smaller.

A CCC is a cupcake cake. You know, where you line up all the cupcakes and frost over them like it's one cake.
