I'm making a burger cake, and want to make some tomato slices out of fondant...but i don't know how to do it without a mold (particularly because I haven't found a picture of one already done). Anyone have pictures of fondant tomato slices?

I made mine by using a small cup to cut out the circle then I put the markings on with a knife.

Just slice a tomatoe and go from there..Your really only going to see the "outer" edge of the tomatoe anyways, right? Or will you see more of the middle of the tomatoe? if thats the case I would make the middle by putting a little piping gel in there to give it the "look". and make some seeds with your fondant.

thanks! I kinda want them to hang out a little bit (so you can tell what they are). I'll be sure to post pics. Thanks for your help!
