What i do is mix my butter, crisco , cream cheese, and flavorings.I replace some of the butter with the cream cheese, then i add my powdered sugar. I only add more liquid if i need it. If the icing is too soft to make decorations, i will either use regular buttercream, or add more powdered sugar till i can do the piping with it
