I want to send some mini honey cakes to my son, but I would really like to cover them in a chocolate ganache (non-dairy version). Do you think it is safe, healthwise, to mail something like that? It would be shipped priority if that matters.

Thanks,
Kathi

Healthwise, I think it would be ok, but I'd be worried about them melting. Our coolest day in the past week was 96 degrees, and we're north of you. Think of the box sitting in the mail truck all day, then if they need to sit in a mailbox or porch until he gets them, well...you see where I'm going. Overnighting the package might help - at least it wouldn't sit for as long. Good luck!

Okay, yeah, I kind of thought this. I was just hoping I was wrong!

Thanks,
