Well my sister is getting married next May and she along with her fiance would like a Stanley cup wedding cake. How would you go about making a silver/chrome cake?

I have a general idea of how I'll actually put the cake together. It's just the icing that I'm struggling with.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions or ideas

Thanks. I also found that picture, but as you can see it doesn't really have that chrome finish. I would like to ba able to make it shiny, like the real cup sitting next to it.

PS I noticed you're in Calgary. I'm actually moving to Lethbridge in December. I'm really looking forward to getting back to Canada. Any snow there yet?

I would think you'd need about a pound of silver luster dust to get that look! That or some kind of chocolate transfers that would do the same thing. Sounds like a fun one to work on!

I think you'd have to airbrush it, would take too much luster and too much work to do it by hand if you really want it silver. How about team colors?
