Has anyone made a strawberry out of gumpaste? If you have would you please post a link to the pic? Thanks!!!!

They can be made of gumpaste, molded by hand or pressed into a mold. But they would be nicer done in fondant or marzipan so people can actually eat them. Here is a link to a strawberry mold.

Thanks Shirley! I wish I had quick access to those large molds. I don't think anyone in my area carrys them. The party got changed from next weekend to this weekend. Time slipped up on me. I've already made a bunch of little seeds.

Fondant, marzipan, and even white chocolate would be good but the girl wants it for a keepsake. She has visions of a cake from a cartoon a long time ago. It was a tiered cake with a cupcake on top with a strawberry on the cupcake.

Here's a pic of the strawberry. Not too bad for a first. It went on top of a cake that resembles an ice cream sundae. Since the girl wanted it for a keepsake I made a base from gumpaste to support it.
