Is the strawberry cream cheese a soft spread cream cheese?
If it is, I'm sure it will work, but the frosting will be softer than if made with a block of cream cheese.
Also the flavor will be more subtle than if you used strawberry extract to flavor.
Sounds like a tasty combo
