I've made it a million times now and for some stupid reason...ITS NOT TURNING OUT TODAY!!! It never gets thick, stays runny and has th consistancy of melted marshmallow creme...ugh!! ![]()
I'm using Antionia's recipe, as I always have with clean dry instruments...
5 tbsp merrainge powder
6 oz warm water
1 tsp cream of tartar
2 lbs 4 oz powder sugar
I just think the Kitchen Gods are not smiling down on me today. I give up...I'll try again tomorrow. (as I need to go t the store to buy more supplies ans 3 batches are just slop...whaaaaaa!!!!)

whenever I have this problem, I just add more dry until I get the right consistency.....humidity and the elements can change. If too thick, a little water works for me.....
may not be science, but trial and error works when you have a 3 year old like myself....
