I've always wondered.... What do you do if you get an egg with a double yolk? Do you call it it two eggs or do you just treat it like it's one?
you just yell "twins" and keep going. LOL. i would count it as one because it will be the size and volume of one
I get double yolks ALOT because I normally use jumbo eggs (my store sells eggs that come from a local distributor and they are pretty small) and I've always treated them as one egg, too. My outcome doesn't seem any different either, so I guess it's safe to say you can just treat them as one. I was just wondering what someone else thought. (What I'm really doing is putting off cleaning up the kitchen mess from last night.. heheh)
I guess I should have just looked for an old post about it... but that would have been faster and I'm trying to waste time. ho hum....

most of the egg fat is in the yolk, if you find that the double yolked egg cakes a little to moist, then just cut back on your oil or butter a tad.
The eggs just make your cake richer, moister and of course...to have more calories! lol
i have a hard time finding old posts... so i admit i also tend to just start a new thread
