Hi, I'm going to try to do my sons mascot. should I do a round cookie and just do the image on the cookie? or should I do a cookie cutter? RI, MMF? and suggestions ? This would be for his high school football team.

Thanks everyone

I say round with the image. You can do royal, I'm assuming that you're the artist that I am not! Good luck.

I would do a round cookie sitting on a piece of fondant thats jagged around the edges like the white in picture and use royal for the flooding.

I'm assuming you are doing several(?). I would do color flow or chocolate transfers and have them ALL done. When you ice the round cookies with just plain white icing, then you can just stick the transfers on the cookies. This is a great mascot! That's one that I would look at and say, "This will look GREAT on a cake!!" I can't wait to see the finished products!

I don't have a printer to do edible images onicon_sad.gif Is that what you mean?
I'm not that great of an artist either... I really want to try these. I would be doing at least 80 cookies, players, coaches, cheerleaders.

I would do a square cookie and use royal if I were doing it. The chocolate transfer idea sounds like a good one though as well.

i would say it would depend on how many you want to make. if it's only a few, i always find it easier to print off the pic, cut it out and use that to cut out the cookie. this way your cookie has some guidlines to follow too. does that make sense? if you have to do a lot...i agree with everyone else. go round
