Ok, I'm finally doing my carebear cake I had to do and my plan is to do the bottom layer of cake as a cloud and then the carebear sitting on top. My question is what is the easiest/best way to do the cloud look? I just want it puffy and soft like care-a-lot. I'm going to frost the cake tomorrow/Wed, so any advice would be good. Thanks!

I haven't made any clouds myself; however, I've read here on CC where others say they used a round tip with a very large hole and just make mounds of little circular motion clouds. HTH. I'm sure someone that has actually made some clouds will reply soon.

I didn't cover the whole layer in clouds, I instead just tried to do a cloud border....but I basically did exactly what the pp mentioned. I took a 12 tip and moved it to make everything fluffy and whimsical. I hope this at least gives you an idea!

Thanks. That's what I was figuring I would do but wanted a little advice before I started. Since the bear is going to be Grumpy I was thinking of maybe making the clouds kinda grey. What do you think?
