Cookies In Iraq Help!!

hi everyone i need some help ummmmmm i have a friend thats in iraq and i want to send him some cookies but i dont know how best to ship them or even what to bake because it will take up to 2weeks to get there its for his birthday but since i cant send a cake then ill send him some cookies for him and he's crew icon_smile.gif ne advice??? thanks

i sent cookies to iraq a lot while my brother was stationed there. I sent my decorated cookies. each one was wrapped in it's own bag, then i put bubble wrap in between each cookie. the bubble wrap was around the inside of the box too. i shipped it u.s. post office 2 day priority. he said every time he got them they were still nice and fresh.

REALLY aww cool !!! may i ask what recipe did you use cuz im a first timer at cookie baking and plastic bags are a great idea !!!! thank youicon_smile.gif

Just make sure whatever you send can hold up to the heat and not melt!

i used toba garretts butter cookies and her glace icing. i didn't put them in plastic bags, i used celphane.
