Hi
I have been asked to do a baby shower cake and just want to check that the sizes of tins will provide enough cake.
It is for 40 people and I was planning on using a 10,8,6" cake torted and filled. Each layer has a different filling. Fondant covered and stacked with different whimsical designs on each cake.
I am pretty sure this will be enough cake just want some reasurance.
thanks

according to the charts I use, that will be more than enough cake for 40. Check the charts at ultimatebaker.com

Thanks for the replies. The charts are really helpful. As they are for wedding cakes and i assume you would have a slightly biggar piece of cake for baby shower and birthdays. would these charts still be applicable??
I was basing the sizes off the wilton chart for party cakes. I guess it is subjective to how big the person cuts the cake isn't it?
