My most requested flavor is my butter pecan recipe. I fill it with butter pecan mousse.

The cake is just a DH butter pecan mix with the cake enxtender, then I add a tub of DH caramel pecan frosting into the batter. The mousse is a 8 oz jar of caramel ice cream topping, 6 oz cream cheese whipped together. Then stir in chopped pecans. Finally fold in gently a tub of whipped cream.

I know that you probably mean a decorated cake that we sell the most of, but my biggest seller is an old-fashioned caramel cake. It is my "stop traffic" cake. I can decorate it with brown sugar sand and chocolate shells to make it look kind of tropical--but basically it is just light brown. The taste, though, is really good. I sell dozens and dozens of these each year. It is a cake that not many do not do--so maybe that is why it sells so well. ??? I am sure that everyone here has a best-seller that is different from everyone elses. You will find your best-seller--I promise.

Chocolate fudge cake with French vanilla & toffee mousse filling. The icing is a toss-up though. Some like a fudge buttercream icing, while others like a white chocolate buttercream. A real close second is French vanilla cake with buttercream icing and either an orange or lemon curd filling. WASC probably comes home at a very respectable third. My DH likes it with milk chocolate cream cheese icing.

I sell more of this design than any other. It is so versatile. You can make it in sports color for a mans favorite team and add a little piped on football and he is happy. You can do it in shades of pink with black outlines and add pink polka dots and the girls are happy. You can do it in primary colors and add piped on balloons and the little ones are happy. You can do the colors in bright orange, pink and yellow outlined in purple, and add some hibiscus and you are ready for a luau.
For those customers who really don't know what they want...it works great.
You can even do it in baby colors...write congratulations...add a pair of baby booties in the corner, and you are done.

Here's the one I make that everyone loves. My second request is a Nutty Irishman (Bailey's Irish Creme and Frangelico) cake. I don't have a picture of it. You bake it in a bundt pan. It is not a decorated cake.
