Has anyone taken Wilton's Petit Four course? I want to take this class at Hobby Lobby. But the lady I talked to over there doesn't know how much the supplies are going to cost or even what the supplies are. I was just wondering if any of you knew. I don't want to buy things if I already have them. I need to have some type of estimate how much it costs. If its too much $$, then I can't take it.

TIA

I've been a Wilton instructor for over a year now and I've never heard of a petit four class. It could be an older class or a non-Wilton class. Call your store and get the instructors phone number. She'll be able to tell you exactly what she is offering and what you need to purchase.

Thanks for the reply.

I called the store and they would not give out her personal #. The saleslady wasn't any help.

Hmm, I'm not sure this is a *Wilton* class. It could be the WMI teaching a non Wilton class.

If they won't give her out number, then I would call back and ask when she will be in store, and you can either call the store then or go up there to talk to her. You could also leave a message including your number or email for he to call you back and ask.

The best person to get information on it would be the instructor that is giving it.

I would love a class on petit fours. I didn't know there were any. I'll have to look around. Let us know what you find out. Like TexasSugar said, maybe you can leave contact info for the instructor to get in touch with you. Maybe ask to speak to a manager rather than a sales associate. I hope this works out for you. thumbs_up.gif

Boy I sure could use that class too! I tried to make petit fours once...big mistake! I had to eat the evidence of bad petit four making! icon_redface.gif

I took this class at Michaels last week! (If it is the same class) It was $10.00 for the class and it was a WMI teaching the class. There were no supplies needed for the class that I took. The instructor showed us how to make petit fours using the petit four molds. She used Wilton candy melts also.
It seemed fairly easy to do and she gave us the website of where to get the kit if we wanted or we could just purchase the molds from another site.

To purchase the whole kit (which she called Tiffany box Petit fours)go to (she said to click on silicone molds and look for tiffany box petit fours)
http://www.sweetexpress.net/index.php

or for just the molds (which is what I did because it is much cheaper)

If you would like a copy of the instruction sheet she gave us, PM me and I will try to send you a copy.
