I am finally getting to order A Kopy Kake airbrush and I'm so excited, but I don't know which size to get. Which size cup do you have? Do you like it or wish you had the other one? (1/16 oz. or the 1/3 oz.) Thanks so much for your help!
No one??? I know some of you have the KK airbrushes. Somebody help me out here ![]()

I have te Kroma Jet I guess it's the 1/16 oz, I know it's the cheaper
.
For me it's great because I like to decorate with a lot of colors so I only use a couple of drops per color. I haven't painted a big cake in just one color with it. The one I made I decided to tint the icing instead, I guess I got cold feet. But if you need to paint big cakes the same color, I think the bigger one is for you. BTW I choose the kroma jet because of the price, I didn't want to spend a lot for my first airbrush in case I didn't learn to use it.
Thanks so much for your reply! I do have a very large cake that I will need to airbrush next month. I'm leaning towards the larger cup. I guess if I'm only covering a small area, I could just add a little color instead of filling the cup. You don't have to fill the cup all the way do you?
Just a drop or 2 will do a 'lot' of detail work with the airbrush...and you can refill as needed, so even on a large amount of work you can do it with a smaller capacity brush. The only problem you would have is if you mix a special color... remember how many drops of each color you use so you can recreate the matching shade.
I use 2-3 drops depending on what I'm doing, when I mix color I do it in a small measuring cup, add a drop to the airbrush and try the color, then add more colors to the measuring cup if needed. That way you end up with a little more color than you need for your cake but all the same color.
I have an Airbrush from kopyKakes and I love it ,it is PT # AB018 hubby got it for me for my B day I love it if you look at my cakes the shark and spider man cake were airbrushed I did more cakes but have not up loaded the pics yet I love my airbrush you'll have lots of fun

Thanks again you guys! I'm so excited to get an airbrush!
Hi everyone, I'm just wondering about mixing colors to enhance them. I saw Collette Peters using an airbrush one time and she mentioned adding a drop of green to her pink color to enhance it. She said it would help the pink to have more depth. Apparently, there are some colors that can be added to other, different colors to do this. Does this make sense to anyone? Does anybody have a chart that would tell which colors to use with which colors or does anyone know which colors are commonly combined? I don't know if this applies only to airbrushing or not. Thanks for any responses.
So do you mean a color wheel that shows which colors are complimentary to each other or opposites? Because I've seen those, but I've heard that you can actually mix 2 completely different colors together ie, pink & green to make one of them pop or to bring out certain properties of one of the colors. I don't know if I'm making this very clear, but I know I've seen it done so I'm not completely bonkers- yet! Thanks for any help/suggestions. Maybe I'll play around with some colors to see what I come up with.
