OK, I want to do my first cookie bouquet. I've never even made a good sugar cookie... icon_rolleyes.gif
I need a lot of advise, a good cookie recipe, what type of icing to use, how to apply the icing, and what's the best way to package and present.
PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!

Welcome to Cake Central!! Try the No Fail Sugar Cookie recipe in the recipe section and the Royal Icing recipe submitted by Antonia78. Also,
go to the articles and there is a very good tutorial on making and decorating cookies.

You can buy the cellophane cookie bags at Michaels or Walmart and they also sell the cookie sticks.

There are lots of threads in the cookie section on making cookie bouquets. Hope this helps.

http://www.cakecentral.com/cake_recipe-1983-Royal-Icing-for-Decorated-Cookies.html

here are those two recipes........what I do is put some green floral foam into the bottom of a flower pot (paint the pot whatever color you want) and then I cover the top of the foam with cello....then put in some type of candies for "dirt" in the flower pot....then stick the cookies on the sticks into the foam and arrange them, then put the whole thing in a shrink wrap bag, tie up with ribbon and shrink the bag using a hair dryer. Here is a photo of my bouquets I did this valentine's day and I had NO experience with cookies and used both of these recipes for the first time with these and here is a photo of the cookies too so you can see how that icing recipe looks up close.
