Has anyone ever made a cookie display case? (similar to a Lollipop one)

I have been doing a lot of baking for fund raisers and I thought that I would make a bunch of cookies on a stick to sell, but I want a nice display to hold them all that I can use over and over again.

Give me your ideas. I have a few ideas, but thought I would brainstorm with you all.

I have a cousin who will make it for me, (since he burned my HUGE double heart cake board - paybacks are a B*&$@!).

Well, I don't know about a case, but I have a book with a picture of a lollipop stand that would work. It's made of arches or half moons of wood with holes drilled maybe every 2-3 inches apart. The arch allows the items she is displaying to have enough space.

HTH,
Kathi

I think it would be cute to base the display on the cookies or the time of year......like in the spring/summer when you might do more insect and flower shaped cookies to have a green board with holes in it maybe some fake grass on it and a picket fence around it......making it look like a garden......or in the fall, have a tree of sorts with cookies that are leaves and maybe pumpkin cookies around the base and so on......

Thanks Khalstead,

That is a great idea. I may take you up on that idea!
