Hi, Debster! Welcome to the forum!
Step 1 - let's get you organized here. I see that you are having the same trouble that I have - when I post a new topic, I am not automatically sent notice of the responses. When you send your new post in, you will see a window that asks if you want to see your message. Click on that option. At the bottom of the page you will see a link that asks if you want to watch this topic. Click on it to watch it, and you will be automatically e-mailed any responses that come through.
Step 2 - In the event you forget to do this, you can to to Private Messages in the pink box on the left of the page. Then click on Memberlist, and search for your forum name, then click on that. When you look to the right of your profile page, you will see a link that asks if you want to read all posts you have written. You can go in that section and search for that particular post, then go back to step 1 and find the watch this topic option.
Now, as far as fondant swags and lace on buttercream, yes, you can attach them. Use small dabs of buttercream as your glue.

You're not the first person to get lost in the forum files. It will all come to you in time. Just ask for help when you need it. One of us will be around, even if it does take us a couple of days to answer.
