I need some help. I am making a birthday cake for 2 of my co-workers who couldn't be any more different from one another. I am making a double layer french vanilla torted with bavararian cream and frosted with bc. I need a simple yet nice design. Any ideas? The co-workers are a man turning 50 or so and a lady in her 60's. Please help.

just do something simple and neutral... roses, cornelli lace, something like that. if you have strawberries hanging around, you could dip them in chocolate and put them on top...
