Bc Icing- That Little Ridge Of "extra Along The Top Edg
Decorating By melysa Updated 26 Oct 2006 , 11:58pm by cakesbykitty
i made a round cake this week. iced it in bc, got it relatively smooth, crusted for 10 minutes, then used the viva towel and the paint roller to blend and smooth out bubbles. i ended up with this "ridge of extra" icing along the top edges. i couldnt smooth it up to the top, or down to the sides, as it always left a slightly visible view that i was trying to move icing. any tips to get a perfect straight side and top with your buttercream? thanks!
