I am sure this has been covered over and over but. . .I can't quickly find the info I need. I've never used any dusts and wanted to try them out. When thinning with Vodka how thin/thick do you get it? TIA

I like to paint with it when it's kind of like gel-a little thick, but not "chunky".

icon_smile.gif Dust are so much fun icon_smile.gif

Add tiny amounts of alcohol at a time until it is a paint consistency - fairly thick, but thin enough to brush on. You may use more dust than you thought, but if you leave it out, the alcohol will evaporate and you can reused the dust again!

First time I did it, I added too much alcohol and it was a disaster - I didn't have enough dust to add to make it thick enough again icon_redface.gif

I compare the thickness to unwhipped cream or latex wall paint. If it is too thin it streaks and doesn't cover well, too thick it goes on globby.
