Hi Everyone... I have to make a 3 tiered cake with a waterfall down the front of the tiers. Any suggestions on what to use, other than colored buttercream, to make the water look realistic??

I made a cake with a waterfall....I just covered the waterfall section in light blue fondant and then in piping gel tinted blue! I think the piping gel is usually what most people use to get the most realistic water look.

Yes, go with the blue tinted piping gel. It works just great. Take a peek at the Alaskan wedding cake in my profile. I made a river on top of buttercream with the blue piping gel.
