How can I avoid air b ubbles when working with rolled fondant. Also, is there any suggested length of time I should wait to decorate the cake after I have applied the fondant?

Thanks.

For avoiding air bubbles try not to fold the fondant just knead it. And as far as waiting to put the decorations i just start right away. Hope this helps and welcome to CC.

I forgot to add that if you do get an airbubble you can prick it with a needle and push the air out after its on the cake.

I also heard somewhere that if you do get an air bubble and you're going to ##### it with a pin, insert the pin at an angle, that way when you smooth it over again, you wont see a hole! icon_biggrin.gif
