Help! I Need Vodka And I'm Out All Out Of It! Lol

I need to paint on fondant and haven't mixed with out vodka in ages.
What can I substitute from my kitchen since I don't have a car today? I'm a desperate woman!
That and it's going to look weird if I walk to the market with the baby in the stroller and a 6 year old with me and I walk in to buy just the vodka.... I'll either get a parenting lecture from someone OR sympathy from many . Around here you never know which you'll get. LOL
And do I just add a bit of what ever I can use to my colorings to get a paint like consistancy like I do with the vodka mixture.
Lemon juice, almond extract or clear vanilla extract should do the trick.
ditto the above post... you can also use any kind of clear alch...triple sec, gin, rum,,,anything like that should work ![]()

I don't have those nice flavored things... I have a 4 month old instead. LOL
I'll go start reading my flavorings and see which will work.
Thanks gals.
I laughed when I saw this thread! I knew what you wanted it for before hand but it was kinda funny still. I have to agree with what the other replies were. I have used the clear vanilla in pinch many times.
I also know the look when I walk into the store to purchase a bottle of vodka with my 3, year old, 2 year old and 14 year olds all in tow!
Shoulda seen me doin it the day I had all 3 kids plus 1- 110lb. dog and a 35 lb. pound all in car while I "ran" in to purchase my 1/5 of vodka!!!!!!!!
The lady checking me out was in front of a huge ceiling to floor window with my car parked directly in front so I could see the car at all times....so could she! ![]()

Kids..............All the more reason to stay stocked in vodka ![]()

I have a 13 year old and a 3 year old. Both boys. (give a little to them at bed time and a lot to me please) Not really, I'm not a drinker, but sometimes I feel the need to rethink that one. ![]()
