Adding Gum Tex To Mmf?

So I can add some gum tex to mmf right? How much would you add?

i would add about 1 teaspoon to roughly 500grams of mmf.

How much is 500 grams? We silly americans dont use the metric system.

500 g is a little over one lb.

I tried this a few months ago and it didn't work well. It made the fondant dry to quickly so it got brittle and kept cracking while rolling out. When trying to make flowers with it, it was too brittle and kept breaking. I've tried it a few times using less gum-tex but always with the same results.
The gum-tex does work well with fondant, though.
