Chocolate - Need Recipe
Decorating By SugarMoonCakeCo Updated 27 Aug 2007 , 5:59pm by SugarMoonCakeCo
hey everyone!
i am baking tomorrow and need a chocolate cake recipe for the bottom layer of my anniversary cake - this will be the 14" layer filled with oreo buttercream, iced with chocolate buttercream and needs to be quite dense, but delicious! i need approx 15 cups of batter, so if you know what your recipe makes, let me know!
the 10" middle layer will be lemon poppyseed butter cake (quite heavy) filled with lemon, coated with regular buttercream and lemon fondant and the top 6" will be a dark chocolate (no eggs, no dairy) with the same choc. buttercream as the bottom (filled with i don't know what yet!) then drizzled with choc. ganache.
i'm SOOOOOO excited to do this cake - it is what started my journey into cake making and the day is finally approaching! (all my other cakes have been the practice for this one - never did i think i would be starting a business out of it!)
sorry to ramble...excitement is getting the best of me!
thanks in advance!
I use this recipe and it is to die for in chocolate it has different varities of the white at the bottom so scroll down , even the sizes of cakes it makes
