I am getting ready to do a color transfer of Matar from the movie Cars and I was wondering if anyone could give me any tips on how I can achieve that rusty look instead of a solid brown color?

Thanks,
Nicole

If you mean a frozen buttercream transfer, you can use copper, possibly mixed with yellow or orange, to get the color you wish.

I am doing the color transfer out of royal Icing.

I wonder if I mixed in some copper metalic right after filling in the truck area and then swirling it around with a toothpick slightly if that would give it a rusty effect?

What do yall think?
